With beautiful views looking up and down the Columbia River and access to the beach just feet away, the Riverhouse vacation home at Skamania Coves is a perfect destination for a private, relaxing retreat. This 1-bedroom, 1-bath vacation home was fully renovated in 2009 with new appliances, cabinets, finishes and furnishings, the Riverhouse offers comfort with relaxing riverside luxury.

Bird watchers, artists, kayakers, fisherman, sailors, wind surfers and train enthusiasts all have enjoyed their stay here. Nestled in the center of the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area, the Riverhouse is conveniently located just minutes away from hiking, grand waterfalls, hot springs, rich Native American and Lewis & Clark history, sternwheeler excursions, as well as shopping and dining in nearby Stevenson.

If relaxation is what you need, curl up by the stone fireplace with a good book and from the grand front picture window watch the river-life pass by. Or meander down to the beach to collect rocks, shells and beach glass while soaking your feet in the cool river waves. Occasionally there are trains that pass behind the house. A sound/privacy fence has been installed that provides a secluded, secure feeling.
