Enchanting and Enchanted Overlook

Our stay was enchanting...

Our stay was enchanting and also enchanted (see the end). The views, the house, and

the grounds are beautiful, peaceful and extremely well kept. We will go back many times

- it’s literally our favorite place now. We had the most unexpected surprise when we met

Scott and Cinda and realized that we grew up in the same town and our lives are

intertwined with siblings and acquaintances. The homes are beautiful. We stayed at

Overlook and got to view the Treehouse and River House. We will stay in both in the

future. The history and back story are fascinating. Please see their web page and read

the blog. I think it would be a mistake to stay here without understanding the history.

Scott and Cinda are amazing hosts, you simply won’t find better people. As we were

checking out, shockingly and delightfully, we found a single penny on the living room

floor. Lastly, if you’re worried about train noises in this peaceful and enchanted

wonderland, you just don’t get it :)

Private note from James

It was incredible meeting both of you!! We are home now and can’t stop talking about

the weekend and how much it means to our lives. We loved the place before we knew it

was you guys, and before we knew the history. Cinda, you are a GREAT writer and

storyteller. Go Mrs. Cracraft!! Still astounded by the amount and quality of work you

have done on the property. You saved it and that means so much to us. We can’t wait to

return and share with our kids and grandkids! We will be in touch to reserve for our

honeymoon next Summer. Lastly, as we were leaving, just me and Staci were left, and

Staci shouted “NO WAY!”, I turned around and she was looking down at a single penny

on the floor.
