A Magical Place!

We discovered Skamania coves 10 years ago. We have returned every year since then.

I have been frequenting the Columbia River Gorge over the past 37 years to windsurf.

Skamania coves is the perfect place for us. The staff is amazing and very

accommodating. They do everything possible to make our stay spectacular. Cinda,

Scott, and Janet are very down-to-earth and easy to communicate with. They always

greet us with a warm smile and make us feel comfortable.

The vacation homes are very tastefully done, and everything functions perfectly. Each

home has its own character and spectacular woodwork with decks, sitting areas,

barbecue grills, and beautiful views.

The setting is like a fairytale and very well maintained. The rock formations that reach

out into the Columbia create a Mystikal setting.

We have enjoyed many sunrises, sunsets, rainbows, sun, wind, and rain (you can’t

have rainbows without rain). The weather is spectacular and always changing.

The fishing is amazing. I have enjoyed catching sturgeon and bass. We really enjoyed

the private beach and floating dock. Skamania Coves is one of the best swimming holes

in the Columbia River Gorge.

Windsurfing in the Gorge is one of the best in the world for that sport. Skamania Coves

is in a perfect location for us with great access to windsurfing and many hiking trails and

waterfalls. The little town of Stevenson, Washington is very quaint and has a nice

character, not to mention White Salmon and Hood River too with all the amenities

anybody could wish for.

Access to Portland and the Portland International Airport is very convenient. We truly

look forward to and enjoy our vacations at Skamania Coves. We plan on returning every

year for the foreseeable future. Thank you for creating an amazing setting for us to

enjoy.
